topic T Stair + Railing in Modeling

<R>Hi all,

Anyone know how you are suppose to model a T shaped stair with a railing?

I first modelled it as a single flight running onto the landing of a L-Stair but AC will not let you have the railing associate properly when it comes to the junction between the L-Stair and the single flight. I cannot get the downturn associate that you get at landings and end treads.

So I changed to modelling it with two overlapping L-Stairs but now my railing keeps flipping reference side when it associates to one of my stairs. I could make the segments unique, but I feel like that should be avoided like the plague as those segments will forever be wrong once any changes are made...

I think there was a wish somewhere for the ability to have just single settings be unique while the rest of the railing still follows the pattern.
