Are you very sure the lines are exactly touching the edge of the fill? Sometimes they cross or fall short of the edge by a minuscule amount and stairmaker fails.

From the HelpCentre

The endpoints of the line of travel must snap exactly to the sides of the fill polygon but cannot connect adjacent edges or nodes of the fill polygon. Corners within the line of travel define landings. If the connection of two segments of the line of travel is not tangential, it will define a landing.

<T>Hello.
I am trying to make a rather simple custom stair, but I receive the following error message: see picture.
What is wrong in the drawing, that it doesn't work?
Thank you.
PS. To the right of the stair I am trying to make is a simple U-shaped stair. That I made to practice, but I need a custom stair because the space for the stair is not a perfect U shape.</T>

Hello.
Thank you for your answer.
Yes, I am sure. I checked again and the lines touch the edge of the fill.

I solved the issue. The problem was with the fill. It had an extra-node right at the endpoint of the line of travel. I erased that and everything went well!

Hey guys, why am I encounting this problem by making an Elyptical Stair with the Custum Stair Based Function? Please see the image! I made a Fill and the Travel Line but when I click in the Design --> Create STair with Selection it tells me that my Travel Line should not connect to adjacent edges or nodes of the polygon Fills. Or if somebody cand tell me another Method for such Stair please tell me... Thkx for your patience!
