topic Fill Types which Cannot Be Deleted in Modeling

<T>I have three Fill Types, which can be renamed, but not deleted.
These are 25 %, 50 % and 75 %.

If I rename them and paste a line for a different project (or DWG), these Fill Types reappear with the original names and cannot be deleted.

What is happening here?

For example, the AC21 Commercial Template has Fill Types % 25, % 50 and % 75, which cannot be deleted. If I draw a line, cut and paste into my current project, the Fill Types 25 %, 50 % and 75 % reappear and cannot be deleted.

Ideally, I'd like to soften the fill, rename these types and have them permanently stay with the new name. (e. g. 25 % becomes 20% or 50 % becomes 40%)

The index number has remained consistent in all these examples.

Thank you.</T>

These are hard-wired fill types that cannot be deleted. ARCHICAD will not let you delete Fill Types with certain names. These Fill Types are:

"Empty Fill" ("Air Space" in recent versions)
"Solid Fill" ("Foreground" in recent versions)
"25 %"
"50 %"
"75 %"
"Linear Gradient Fill"
"Radial Gradient Fill"

I would suggest that you leave these Fill Types as they are, do not modify their name or definition.
To create those 20 % and 40 % fill, just duplicate one of these default Fill Types and specify the desired Name and definition for those.
