I found this thread from years ago. I just started having the same problem with walls disappearing...real convenient as deadlines come (and go).

I checked duplicates (there were none). I've been pretty adept over the years troubleshooting ArchiCAD's wacky bugs (did anyone ever have the trim on a corner window extend beyond the corner because you did a SEO on the wall containing the corner window?...WTF) but this bug has been a massive time waster.

I do not see any acceptable solution to the issue. Moving the entire model, rebuilding all/section elevations, moving the entire model again and rebuilding all/section elevations every time I open the file is ridiculous.

I saw a similar thread posted here:
Sections and elevations messed up

<T>Greetings,

I am getting strange behaviors as I move from plan to section. every once and a while my walls disappear from section view. to fix that, I have to go find the wall on the plan and move it. the new wall position is updated in section view causing the wall to reappear. i then put the wall back in place.

I tried the rebuild from model command in the contextual menu but the doesn't seem to work for me. Has anyone had this problem before? is there any known fix for such problem?

thanks
Habi</T>

You might check to see if you have duplicate walls
in the same location. In plan, delete a wall and
then go to the section/elevation window and
see if your wall shows.
