Hi Everyone, now I'm learning to model roof trusses. I have created roof trusses for area 1 as shown in the below picture. In area 2, the size of trusses is getting smaller gradually, I have no idea what's the fast way to multicopy trusses. Could anyone help me, thanks

you can use multiply command to copy multiple elements faster.

Yes there is a 'multiply' command in the pet palette.

But as each truss will be a new size/shape Daniel may find it easier to model and position each truss separately.

There are also 'Align' and 'Distribute' tools that may be helpful as well.

Thanks for quick repsponse, however with multiply command I didn't find feature that can change trusses size, you know the size in area 2 is getting smaller one by one when I set OC on 2 feet, and with align or distrube tool I didn't find too

I wrote a custom truss object to handle mose situations in basic modeling

https://bit.ly/BIMRithmTrussV1

I use it on every project.

Probably going to overhaul it in the next few weeks.

The multiply, align and distribute tools will not help you adjust the truss sizes.

They will just help you arrange the trusses to the correct position.

Each truss that is a different size will need to be a new truss.

Or use an object that allows you to change the size and shape - maybe the one SenecaDesignLLC is suggesting? (I have not tried it but it looks interesting).

Still each different size truss looks like it will have to be a new separate object that you can adjust the size/shape of.
