Can you show a screenshot? It may be as simple as your Model View Options having windows set to an alternative display option, a cut plane issue, a problem with the library not being loaded, or the part having an incorrect parameter.

Cheers,

<T>I have struggle all afternoo on AC 11 with an unsurmaountable problem.
There is probably a simple answer and I rather be embarrased asking than losing my mind.

I am unable to see windowobjects displayed in 2D, however, when I call to display the 3D window, they appear correctly placed in all respects.

I get several error messages describing problem with pen numbers in the script, I re-installed AC11, apply the latest built and nothing helps !

Any suggestions on settings I may be missing?</T>

Ok, I cannot replicate the problem, however, the only event out of the ordinary was to bring into the drawing, an AUTOCAD "External Reference" .dwg

In one instance, I exit AC and calledforanew drawing, using the latest settings. The windows worked but the doors, any door, produced this Warning Message -" Pen number is less than 1 or greater than 255 at line 447 in the 2D script of the file ws_wallhole_us_10.gsm"

The file is corrupted and was abandoned. I spent more time trying to figure the problem than actually starting new again.

Thanks, Lynk. T'was good to hear from you again.

Your problem may be different, but I had similar problem where window would show in 3d and not plan view, (2d).
Solution was discovering that I had inadvertently set that story height as 1 foot, which was below the "cut plain" and so window object of course would not show.
