    <description>&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Hi all,&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Here I have attached snap of an component before and after we transformed the Class of the Component from IfcBuildingElementProxy to a IfcPlate.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;But the Geometry of the Body which was modelled in Archicad is transformed into BREP (containing extrusions, lines, triangular mesh, etc.,)&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;BEFORE (received as IFC generated from Archicad):&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="kdeepaknaik_1-1653261991908.png" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/21732iED946B38427924EA/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="kdeepaknaik_1-1653261991908.png" alt="kdeepaknaik_1-1653261991908.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;AFTER (transforming IfcBuildingElementProxy to a IfcPlate):&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;span class="lia-inline-image-display-wrapper lia-image-align-inline" image-alt="kdeepaknaik_2-1653262200331.png" style="width: 400px;"&gt;&lt;img src="https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/image/serverpage/image-id/21733iF71DADC91B985F35/image-size/medium?v=v2&amp;amp;px=400" role="button" title="kdeepaknaik_2-1653262200331.png" alt="kdeepaknaik_2-1653262200331.png" /&gt;&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Issue:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Now since we understand BREP when tried integrate into Structural Analysis Software, it becomes too complex to map the component into a simpler geometry.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&lt;STRONG&gt;Question:&lt;/STRONG&gt;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;How can we simplify the geometry of the component, such that it does not cause "IfcFacetedBrep" error in Bentley Synchroniser Software (IFC to ISM converter)?&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Any help with regards to developing a work flow to counter this issue would be helpful.&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;&lt;P&gt;Thank you.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
