Archicad 25 simple Railing with vertical balustrades

Hi, I am trying to create a simple steel bar railing to a wall head, I watched a few YT videos and I noticed the US library has a simple steel railing option, UK only has 3 and none are steel options, I tried playing around with settings but couldn't get bar balustrades to appear. Any help greatly appreciated.

Hi C. Lonie.

Not sure whether this is exactly what you are looking for, but just made a brief Railing where segment consist of Balustrades+Toprail, then there isa Post added to the node (Like nodes/corners on he construction line of the Rail) Alle Materials should be Generic Structural, so you can change them to Wood or steel...

I´v added the rail as a Favorite (xml) sp you should be able to import it via the Favorites palette:

When I try to import file to favourites it is greyed out and cannot be selected 😅

Did you choose .xml (In a folder?) as the format to import ?

Im running A25 SOLO licence might have something to do with sharing maybe

Hi Thomas, I figured out the railings just there, I didn't realise the + and - you could add and delete elements of railings, I got it now, thanks for your help!

Running AC Start Edition, could be a challenge, but I don´t think "solo" should be a problem. However Practice makes King 😉 So maybe just try on your own, and make sure to add Balustrades in the settings chapter: "Segment"
