Just an Idea for the use of the Wall-Addon (Archicad-Goodies - addon to manually install later):

With this example, its possible to add Frames to window/door-openings at on single operation, controling it with the profile-manager.

Let me Know what You think of it.

Bravo! Excellent idea for the use of the wall accessory add-on! The editable profile makes this so powerful. While you used a hidden louvered blind as a sun shade, so many existing structures in Germany, Austria and elsewhere in Europe have rolling shutters (rolladen) that are built into the wall… that your use of solid element subtract to show these properly in section is quite nice.

I agree that the Accessories and some other Goodies have for years belonged back in the base product, as they were 20 years ago. Their removal never made sense to me.

I’ve never coded an accessory object, but wonder in the case of doors where you do not want the trim profile at the bottom / threshold … does the API give you the base height of the wall opening, so that you could omit the trim there when the base is within “n” cm of the wall base?

Good idea ! Custom external moldings that follow the opening spaces can be a big time saver. And save money for other add ons that might do something similar.

Thanks! Rolling shutters are made easy by this. But the with of them should be adjustable in some simple way. Unfortunately its not possible to "automatic-SEO substract" the forms from the wall like other elements do by materialpriority. But its one step further to less mouseklicks

i have never understood the Goodies as a seperate download, what is the thinking behind this??

Just seems to add an extra layer of complexity to library parts management and keeping project files consistent.
