Why was my innocent post under "roofs always a pain") heading, (to get a comprehensive paper manual) taken off the site??
As an American Citizen I find that quite appalling.
It was written with thought and composure.
Is it that big brother Graphisoft controls your business life
and therefore your right to income and maybe your right to speak?
Do we need an independent blog??????
I just bought into at 10, did I make a big mistake?
I'm sorry but this really makes me mad.

it's stating "under moderator investigation". this doesn't mean anything bad - the forum tries to pick anything that might look like spam and extra-long messages and lock them down 'just in case'. once someone's given it a once over on monday morning i'm sure it'll be back and running. it's happened once to me . . .

No offense intended here, but it's not about chilling out.
Its about freedom of speech and especially of all places that
one has to express oneself, as on the internet.
Your rounding a corner that you may wish you hadn't.

No one should control my speech on the internet unless I was
offensive or using excessively and blatant attack language on persons or entities, which I clearly did not.

If their (GS) having bots not humans (or excessively controlling management) controlling the site, maybe a open and free blog is the best way to proceed from this point forward in time.
It would take some time, but in case you've not heard, Blogs will take over as a news and information delivery system, sooner than a lot latter.

no one is fella! it's dwight's post that has the caused the lockdown! and remember: this forum is hosted by graphisoft, so they do have some right to censor. and as far as i recall, they haven't ever done that yet despite some of the criticism they have received!

A typo does not equal the low level and limited intelligence you have shown here archiben. To laugh at someone is to get your head blown off.
My original post was not meanly directed at you, as yours was to me.
I could be as acid to you, but I would not stoop that low.
But I must say...
It must suck to be you right now
I truly feel sorry for you in your limited world.
You see. to be big here means nothing in the real world.
This should have never come to this, but I've seen the "gang"
mentality here on other posters.
It's like a mutual ego blast to blast other in succession.
Like as if twenty people here meant more than drop of sand in the
universe.
Now lets get back to the original post;
Paper manuals are what it was about.
Without them studying is way harder
If "they" ever get done censoring the post you can read some
intelligent prose.

Dollar to doughnuts it's Dwight being censored here, as he probably should be more often IMHO, for his sarcastic and often misinterpreted tounge. Hang in there Mr. Logan.

GS is based in Hungary. Do they have freedom of speech there?

Maybe their laws don't require them to let you say whatever you want and keep your comments on their Forum (even if you are flipping out about a topic that is still there)

First of all, thank you archiben for your calming words.
I think we both got out of hand.

The more serious matter is this:
Remember this my new acquaintances,
Even though you might be a senior member or close to it,
It is the young and new who will drive the market forces towards
or away from Graphisoft.
For those who are first, may latter be last.

This program is extremely complex and getting more so every issue.
If the most senior members are rough and “gang” up on new members,
if they say something redundant or “stupid”, long term these new members
“less than brilliant” comments do not matter.

As I have seen silently before I joined, you do no justice to the
long term viability of Graphisoft with mean spirited “ganging” up
that can lower this site to the bowels of uselessness.
What does that show to those who need the forum most?
That “gangs” roam these alleys?
That your collective “gang” fever outweighs the usefulness you purport
to espouse.
One last observation:
Who dare challenge the senior member “gang” gorillas?
Who dare challenge the these authority “gangs” when you need the
help?
Not the lonely newbie, not the beginners, not the intermediates. For they
to need the help of senior members.
So your supposed majority is false.
You do not see a true balance of opinions this way.
