    <description>Also check the spelling/format of the id. Mine are in the format of SLA - 001 including the spaces. It wont find it without the spaces for example. Yours may be different for some reason.</description>

      <description>Try to isolate the error. Turn off storeys, layers, etc and rebuild the offending view until you find it.</description>

There is. You might not have found it yet, but you can count on it being in the file somewhere.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Turn on all layers and all stories, the do a Find &amp;amp; Select in the 3D window. It will be there somewhere.</description>

      <description>ah i see...its case sensitive...Slab-06 rather than slab-06&lt;BR /&gt;

now i get to whittle it down because it selected about 12 slabs</description>

      <description>Although 12 slabs are not a big deal, you can whittle it down quickly by deleting half and seeing if the problem persists. If not you then only have 6 slabs to check. Undo the first delete then delete half of the six suspect slabs, etc. until you find the problem.&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>you could use the Element ID manager to re-number all the slabs, giving you an easier shot at selecting the offending one.</description>
