topic Walls with projections: complex profile & composite mix in Modeling

<T>New Archicad user here........

I'm trying to build a wall that has projections (brick corbels) & a profiled wall cap. I've gone the route of doing it using the complex profile. Starting off fresh, I can get the profile to work in section. When I try to put a window (any from the standard library), the program stalls with script errors.

Then I tried it another way, that is, starting with a composite wall as a base & then applying the corbelling & cap to the wall. Its no problem to get the composite wall to make a rectangular building.
The corbelling I made using, yet again, the complex profile. Thinking that when the profile wraps a corner, it will miter itself. It doesnt though. The profile stops about a foot or so from each of the corners.

I'm at a loss on how to do this. I just want the corbelling to show up on the section & on the elevation. It would be nice if the actual brick or block coursing would show in the section as well.

Can anyone help?
thanks</T>
