connect the wall-guidlines, have a look at the options - building_material-intersection priority number.

The Reference Lines need to intersect.

If they are intersecting but NOT joining, check your Layer Groups. Things will only join to things with the same Layer Group as their own. Note that Layer Groups are Layer Combination specific.

If they are intersecting and ARE joining, but incorrectly, check your Building Material Intersection Priority.
