Hi, just wondering what the "correct" method ppl use for changing windows and doors for renovations.

Currently I:

-Copy the existing opening and save its settings.

-Set the existing door to be demolished. It disappears on Planned Filter

-I create a replacement door using the demolished doors settings.

-I change the door as required to its refurbished configuration, which often means the that the doors dimensions resets and I have to change it back to the desired custom dimension of the existing door.

-I set it as New Status for renovation filters.

Is there a better way to renovate an existing door or window that isn't going to change dimensions?

Thanks. There doesnt seem to be a way to select shading devices.
