The spell checker is part of Microsoft Word on PC's. you get any messages before/after the crash? Verify that MS Word has all updates applied and runs fine?
it starts checking fine.

there is 11500 words to be checked and at around 200 stops and then crash. I am using Word 2007 (could this be a problem?)

Thanks

glad to see this post. I am having the same trouble.
I am also using Word 2007. No error messages. It just stops. Always a the same spot. The @ symbol in this one drawing. It seems to work fine in other drawings.
I get an error regarding my dictionary. I am not sure what it means or how to fix it. Maybe it is related?

In any case, if anyone knows a fix or can explain what's up, I'd like to hear from you.
