    <description>I wouldn't if you don't have to.&lt;BR /&gt;
It will add many more polygons to your model, potentially slowing it down.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
For 2D documentation, add a hatch to your surface material that represents the standing seams.&lt;BR /&gt;
For 'fake' 3D create a surface material that has an appropriate standing seam image.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
For real 3D if you want the actual seams to stand out, you are better off to use a wall/roof add-on.&lt;BR /&gt;
This way doors &amp;amp; windows will automatically be cut from the cladding and it will follow the shape of your walls and roofs.&lt;BR /&gt;
&lt;BR /&gt;
Otherwise you have to use an object and stretch it and cut holes in it (Solid Element Operations).&lt;BR /&gt;
Search in your objects for 'Profiled Sheet', 'Cladding', 'Standing Seam' or similar.&lt;BR /&gt;
There should be an object you can use, but it won't be easy.&lt;BR /&gt;

      <description>Hmooslechner made a wall accessory a while back which you could try using. I think it used complex profiles. There is a thread somewhere here about it.&lt;BR /&gt;
