Drawing with no width/height

Hello all - I'm hoping you can help me with this (and that I'm posting in the correct forum...)

I'm working on a multistory project and when placing drawings on a layout, all of the stories and elevations, etc. show up fine - except for one, the "AA" floor. I place on the layout and the little marquee box shows up and then it disappears.

It's not an "origin" issue - all the floors are set up the same, and zooming out just gives me the extents of the layout. When I go into drawing selection settings, the width & height have defaulted to zero - even after changing these manually, it switches back to zero. I've restarted my machine, trolled thru these forums, tried everything I can think of... Anything you think I'm overlooking?
