Hi,

I am trying to generate a overwrite rules for wall setout plan. I successfully setting a criteria so it highlights the wall in different color according to the material. But I realize that ArchiCAD pick up the wall as a whole, and not the specific material.

For example, a typical double brick wall:

110mm brick

50mm cavity

110mm brick

10mm plasterboard

ArchiCAD will shade the entire wall, BUT instead, I want it to highlight the two 110mm brick ONLY. Is this possible??

No.

Graphic Overrides affect the entire element.

If your drawing is black and white, you could have a Pen Set in which the pen for your relevant material is coloured. Might that be enough?
