Hi Tijana,

In ArchiCad there is multiple solution to one problem. My question is, is this model gonna be used for later construction site, meaning do you need to extract information from it, or you need the model for visual purpose only.
Personally I would use the curtain wall tool, being that gives me some possibility for parameterization, and easier control of the 2D representation.

Hello

I need to create a facade similar to this example and I haven't done anything like it before using Archicad.

Just wondering what would be the best way to do it. Having separate windows or creating a curtain wall? Would there need to be separate curtain walls in order to create the entry section which has a timber door?

Thanks in advance,

Tijana

You are able to do the entire facade with the curtain wall tool.
You can customize all parts like mullions, transoms, and panels (door).
Example: see attached.

Hi. You could it with:

-curtain wall (in one big element or divided in parts)

-window tool (with wall placed in its corresponding floor level. This is the option i would use for this particular example)

-door tool.

-beams and columns with complex profile

-you could also do it with the railing tool, because, why not?)

-any combination of these options
