Hello, I need to create a wall that doesn't connect with the upper floor. I want both the top surface and the side surfaces to be covered with tiles. I attempted to use a complex profile to create the wall (for the top face) and the wall end tool (for the side faces), but it seems that in the plan view, the wall doesn't appear as a unified element. Can you assist me in resolving this issue? Thank you.

It certainly looks unified from where I'm sitting.

How about making a T as a complex profile,, and use the coloumn-tool to create it? This way, it is one solid peace. You could also use the polywall.

I would just use a regular wall and override the surfaces.

No need for wall ends or complex profiles with a top tile surface.

You can align the texture in 3D if you are fussy about the position of the tile pattern.

It is not about the appearance of the wall. I won't be able to see the details in the section and in the plan with this method. The challenge is that I need to represent the core material and the finish material distinctly in the section and in the plan.

I see what you mean but in that case, I will have two elements instead of one. It would be great if there was a plugin/extension for that.

I thought it was just the lines of the wall ends in 3D that you did not like.

Yes to see the tile skin in plan and section, you will need a complex profile wall with a tile skin to the sides and top.

This will be fine for plan and section.

In 3D I don't get joining lines on the sides but I do on the top.

Turn 3D representation of wall end off so you don't see it at all in 3D and then just override the end material of the wall.
