We are able to get a composite wall with a variable thickness of masonry with Archicad because it is very useful in old buildings.
Do you have an implementation example that justifies this type of representation ?

Is it possible to adjust the wavy insulation pattern as shown in the image below? I have a feeling that what I'm asking for might be something which you would need a plugin for (in case of the image it was a plugin for Revit called Revit Insulator) but I'm hoping for someone to maybe have a way to work around it only with Archicad tools.

I'm a newbie to the software so really far from possessing all the bits and bolts to solve this on my own.

Thanks in advance!

We can set the fill orientation of a building material as 'fit to skin'.

This will allow it to match the skin width when it is used in any composite.

The thing is composites always have parallel skins, we can't have a wall with wavy skins as you have shown.

Not in plan, which is what I assumed was wanted.

In section, yes, you can have a wavy skin, but the fill will no longer fit either.

Thanks Christophe and others

I was specifically thinking about the application in drafting details as shown below. I was assuming this was made in Archicad since I got told the software's drafting capabilities reach further than those of Revit but maybe it's just drawn manually.

Being able to apply this 'effect' in 3D would be a very welcome plus.

You do not need to draw them, that partikular shape is a part of the objectlibrary, at least in my countrys version:

But it does not follow walls like the ones in the initial image.
