Hello,

We have issues with new Archicad 27 Morphtool. Which was not present in previous versions, or we maybe missing something out. Is about classical curved ramp type/shape which is impossible to make. I try to do the slab/wall/mesh as ring and then convert it into morph. As should be logical, i try to pull down one edge, to make it with slope, but shoile thing gets deformed. Outwards and upwards... Is some weird organic shape, not a ramp anymore...

Any idea what it could be?

Thanks!

Operating system used: Windows

Nothing new about the morph tool in 27.

Select just one edge of the morph (sub-element selection) and drag it.

Do the same for the bottom edge if you want.

Or you can select the entire face and move it in one go.

Or there could be a ramp object in the library?

Barry.

Hi Barry,

Thanks for the reply, but Im afraid that may not work. The icon you have selected is used to move the object, not the edge, and indeed, if I select move node or edge, it deformes the object completely. Is not just about ramb, we use this tool to model furniture. Please, look at my screenshots!

Thanks,

Milan

Have you tried the curved ramp object?

This is my library so you will have to search for it.

I think it is in structural elements in the default library?

Yeah, we have this, ramps are working perfectly. But I used ramp to best describe the surface we need. Actually is furniture piece, cabinet , curved wall that is falling down!

But thanks anyway!

Cheers!

Milan
