    <description>&lt;P&gt;Well, if the company can tell the difference between a round or square end on a dimension marker printed at 1:100 scale (actually the scale does not matter as the markers will be the same size no mater what scale), they have way better eyes than me and way too much time on their hands to be that picky.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;In my case I don't consider this a bug but you can make a wish so that they add a preference to choose that the corners have options like Illustrator.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you were drawing with a pen or a pencil, you wouldn't have square ends.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I don't see this as a problem.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I don't think you would ever notice when you print the plans.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It is only noticeable on screen because you can zoom in so much.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I don't particularly like the round ends/corners either.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The thinner the pen is, the less you will notice the round ends.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Of course this does not help when you want a thick line or a thick marker on a dimension (although I don't have an issue with that).&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;With walls, you just need to use a thinner pen for the skin lines.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;The thinner the pen, the sharper the corners will be.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If you are showing a wall at a very small scale where you might see these round corners, then use an alternate pen set for the small scale plans where the pen width is reduced.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Personally I don't worry about pens for different scales.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I use pens that roughly match the old Rotring pens - 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, &amp;amp; 0.5mm.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I use those for almost everything, the thinner pens for regular work and thicker pens to emphasise a bolder line where required.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I know those pens will print at 0.1, 0.2, 0.3, 0.4, &amp;amp; 0.5mm when I publish the PDFs.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Up to about 0.5mm, I really don't think you will notice the rounded corners (unless you are viewing on screen and zooming in.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Printed output is just fine - that is what I worry about.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Exactly - and in a world where delivered material predominantly is views on screen as vector graphics which encourages zooming we need to be able to be meticulous. Just look at QGIS (open source) when it comes to communicating information graphically (line/fill/colour) and compare to AC which seem to be stuck in the 90s.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
