    <description>&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/115289"&gt;@lumen&lt;/a&gt; , the question has nothing to do with materials.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;It looks like it is an issue of why the 3D curtain wall is offset away from the reference line.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&lt;a href="https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/user/viewprofilepage/user-id/115268"&gt;@Ivika&lt;/a&gt; , do you have custom frames or panels?&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I see the offset from reference line is zero (0).&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;But it is set to measure to 'Panel Center' and your panels do not look flat in the image.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;what is the actual issue? there are too many ways to apply materials, to begin to answer this. normally I assign materials to the panel types and million types. pretty normal practice. overrides are not a good practice and changing through object styles is ok, if you want everything to be the same, regardless of family or system.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I created a custom panel to generate a parametric facade. That's why the panels aren't flat. The strange thing is the gap between the 3Ds panel and the wall, and I can't seem to adjust it. Whenever I change the offset in 3Ds, it messes up the alignment again, and I can't figure out why.&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;Check the position of the original geometry you created for the object. It should have 0 elevation.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Anyway there are some options within the curtain wall panel settings that you could play with.&lt;/P&gt;
