      <title>A Beginner's Question</title>

      <description>&lt;DIV class="actalk-migrated-content"&gt;hi all,&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;could anyone tell me this without making fun of me:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;1. how to place an object (chair etc.) on a slab, so when you move slab the object moves together. how attach an object to a slab?&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;2. how to join two objects into one? how do you make one object out of two? table top and its legs etc...&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;any help would be useful&lt;/DIV&gt;</description>

As Mike says, grouping is the only option here. While there is a gravity function to place things onto slabs, roofs and meshes, there is no other way to tell them to stay there.&lt;BR /&gt;

Save as a library part. This can be done from plan or 3D.</description>
