Complex profiles that are affected by hidden intersecting geometry

HI all.

I have an ongoing problem with complex profiles and how they are affected by hidden intersecting elements. I've made sure my layer intersection # is 1 for my main models that are affected, and the hidden geometry is 0. This works for all other items in my scene that intersect the hidden geometry (slabs, walls etc) however complex profiles stay affected by the hidden geometry and have various incisions . Reading some other posts aren't helping me, and some are from much older versions. I'm on 27 currently. Appreciate any help!

Priority Based Connections are affected by the layer intersection group number.

But connection by Solid Element Operations are not.

Can you show any screen shots to explain your problem further?
