Complex Profile Chamfer

I am trying to create a complex profile wall, with a chamfer brick on the top.

I want the chamfer to remain constant no matter the depth or height f the wall, but just cant seem to make this happen.

I have tried offset modifiers for the chamfer depth an height, but have had no luck.

I may be missing something.

Any help would be great.

I tried to add the width and height strech modifiers, and then move the strech limits leave the chamber out of the the "strechtable" area and it seems to work:
