Slow Redraw in AC10

Is anyone else having this problem?

When i zoom or drag in plan, redrawing is VERY slow.
In AC9, slow redraws were caused by drawing line weights accurately, so turning that feature off was a quick fix.
However, this is not the case here.

Can anyone help me?

Im unable to find this setting in AC10.
This is a fairly simply project. Just a 1800 sq.ft. 3story house.

looks like they've either completely scrapped 2D openGL, or else it's permanently on. you can change the complexity of the 2D screen-work from: work environment>user preferences>more options

I experienced slow redraw recently - but it was with a DWG file coming from a consultant and it contained 200000 line segments on one Story. Memory ran low so the computer started using virtual memory from the hard drive and this caused the slowdown.
