I suppose the Slab tool has the advantage of being simpler and different. Always flat with vertical edges.

Hi,
Is there any advantages by using slab over roof tool, by setting the flat incline (0/12). With roof you can use the extras menu to create floor joists/beams in one operation and change the slope of the edges. Do not know of any additional advantages but surely the slab tool itself apparently does not have any advantages?!
Thanks,
Joseph Harouni

Apart fom easier to draw the one advantage of a slab is the top and bottom heights are easily adjustable in the info palette. I dont know but maybe the slab is more efficient in GDL (hence 3Ds quicker) but I have never tested that.
