Dear community,

I have an issue with representing the construction elements in the section. They are made from high-priority materials but in the section, they are shown in different ways (you can see on the screenshots attached). To change the priority in the layers also does not help. Any ideas?

Operating system used: Mac Intel-based

So, some instances of the Beam cut the other structure and some instances do not? What is the other structure modeled with? Is it a Slab or a Roof?

Yes, sometimes the beam cuts the structure, and sometimes it does not. It happens with both slabs and roof structures.

Are the beams that cut and the beams that do not cut all on the same layer? I mean, if they are all on the same Layer then they always have the same Layer Intersection Number so they should either all cut or not cut. Is that the case?

Do all the Beams have the same Renovation Status?

In the Renovation Filter Dialog, there is a "Do not intersect" checkbox for both Existing and To be Demolished statuses. You could check if those are checked.

Also, can you try this? Move a copy of just those Beams and Slab to another location and check if they intersect there. Additionally, you could copy-paste them to a brand new Archicad file to check if they intersect there. This could indicate there is something going on in the file that causes this behavior.
