Solid element operation and round surfaces!

Hi!

I have a problem that is a little bit annoying. When two different round surfaces interact, they don't match, and using a solid element operation doesn't work correctly. Is there any way to solve this problem?

Operating system used: Mac Apple Silicon

The staircase needs to cover the wall and extend slightly; half a millimeter might be enough, but you'll still have the dividing line.
Another option I use to get the surfaces flush is to use another element that covers enough of the area to be subtracted to perform the solid element operation and place it on a hidden layer.

if - you need extremely smooth curves for that stair, use the Basic Shapes Cylinder or other objects that you can configure for higher resolution for SEO. For example, you can set the Resolution of the Cylinder to 999 and it's Target will be cut really smooth. Also, be sure to set you Magic Wand Settings to as smooth as possible, especially if your converting some other 3d file format into .gsm. If you're using a morph you can dbl the segmentation a few times if you like. I am always wanting to make things as smooth as possible with ArchiCAD.

Yeah... when working with stairs and SEO, I find that I always need to extend the SEO slightly beyond since the curve generation of stairs is jank...

I used another object to cut the wall and the stair. And now it is smooth.
I just think that all of the circles in all of the object should have the same number steps so this type of things didn't happen. Or at least have the option to set that number like some objects have.

Yeah, my SEO for this sort of thing would be a copy of the stair, minus the structure, with the inside edge extended inward just past the finish thickness.
