<T>please find attached (2) images i captured in Detail Layout book.
notice 72 dpi vs 108 dpi.
those (2) details are same scale and i am sure i created same way.
does anyone know why it has different property & which is better (for cd set)?
I presume you are selecting a SCANNED image. Neither dpi would be acceptable if they are b/w drawings.

I do have this observation tho... I am currently using a large library of scanned in structural details (they are mostly axonometric). The are typically scanned in at 200dpi and adjusted to 240dpi on the layout.

Trouble is, if I option click (to pick up parameters) on an existing detail (that has the right Title Type, etc)... and syringe them into another detail, the dpi changes to 72.. no matter what! I don't know if it actually prints at 72dpi or is just an error in the info box, but I avoid doing this at all costs.
