Using the shape (Morphs) tool, in a 3d window, is it possible to constrain the drawing direction in an arbitrary direction (like in sketchup for example)

Don't know how it works in sketchup but have your tried alt-a/option-a?

Yes, you can lock onto the guide lines in 3D with the SHIFT key just the same as in plan.

And you can also use the tracker to input specific distances and angles.
