Is there a way to have the wall intersections stop at the intersection? The intersection is an L type intersection. When one wall is a curve, it pushes past the other wall.

How do I get all the materials to stop at the red line in the wall int right picture?

How do I get all the materials to stop at the red line in the wall int right picture?

Ideally you don't, because in most situations it will be fine if your reference lines all connect on the same side of the wall.

However, in OPTIONS menu > Project Preferences > Legacy, you will find an option to use legacy intersection.

But be aware this is a global option (affects the entire model) and affects other situations as well.

You are much better off controlling the reference line connections or manually trimming the walls in situations that don't automatically work.

Barry.

I don't see the benefit of the current method. The option to choose which type you need at each intersection would be very useful. Especially for different height walls. The showstopper for this is the surface materials won't show. I don't understand why those two things have anything to do with each other.

How do you manually trim the wall ends at the angle you want without SEO or intersecting another wall?

If you want the ends of the wall to be angled, you need to use SEO which will not show in plan anyway, use another (stronger) wall in a hidden layer, or use the wall end tool.
