      <title>Lines At Wall/Slab/Column Intersections</title>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Hello! I am getting these segments of random lines while modeling and in elevation, they appear where different modeling elements meet. I have tried: reconnecting the elements, subtracting elements from each other, changing the material strengths (ie. concrete 750 vs stucco 700, and vice versa), merging elements, display order in elevation. None of these steps seem to work. The best way I've solved it in certain areas is by adjusting heights and lengths of elements in relation to another element, but the solution is not consistent in all cases. Reference image, example of problem area includes a wall, a column and slabs:&lt;/P&gt;

&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;These lines appear in the 3D model when elements don't connect perfectly. This can mean many things though:&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;OL&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Maybe the elements are off axis (e.g. the wall in plan is at 89.99 degrees instead of 90). You can give this tool a try to help you point these out:&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;A href="https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/General-discussions/Add-on-to-find-off-axis-non-orthogonal-walls/td-p/663007" target="_blank"&gt;https://community.graphisoft.com/t5/General-discussions/Add-on-to-find-off-axis-non-orthogonal-walls/td-p/663007&lt;/A&gt;&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Maybe an element is just offset (e.g. the edge of the slab is parallel to the wall, but 0.3 mm offset from the edge). Turn off line weights and check whether they overlap perfectly in plan (zoom in real close on that edge in plan)&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Make sure wall reference lines meet perfectly (align and join commands can help making sure).&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;There could be duplicated elements. E.g. if the wall is duplicated, it will "intersect itself" and show weird connections both in plan and 3D. Use the "Check duplicates" tool to find these elements (or just select the element, delete it, and see if there is another element staying there after deleting).&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;LI&gt;Elements can also overlap weird. E.g. if you have the wall height on story 01 go from 0.00 to 1.00 and the wall height on story 02 go from 0.80 to 2.00, that 0.80-1.00 overlap can show up weird in 3D and in corners on the plan.&lt;/LI&gt;
&lt;/OL&gt;
&lt;P&gt;These are the most common culprits. Let us know, how you managed to get on!&lt;/P&gt;
