Hello!

I have the following problem:

I need to transfer the sewer/drainage planning from our infiltration planner into 3D. The planner assumes that when there is a change in pipe dimension (e.g., from DN150 to DN200), the invert level (bottom of the pipe) remains continuous. However, with the library element "sewer pipe," the top of the pipe is automatically continued instead.

Is there a solution for this? Otherwise, I end up with different invert levels than those indicated in the 2D infiltration plan.

Hi,

Are you using the MEP functions?
I was able to achieve this easily (with pipe route tool) by having a 3D vertical pipe made out of three segments: DN200, DN500 and DN200 again.

These are easily editable to fit your needs, pipes can be separate elements etc.

Thank you, but that was not the problem.

I am using the Object:

The pipes are going horiozontally.

In reality it is not the height of the top of the pipe that contiunues, but the bottom.. like that :

obviously with a connecting part - but that does not matter for now.

I think the only way to do it with this tool is to start a new object everytime the pipe dimension changes. This way its possible to set the same invert level.
