I need to show the mouth face open as the shape. How to do that?

As mentioned before you need to split of part of the lower jaw.
Rotate it and then join it back with new morph surfaces.
Then union it all together so it is one morph again.
And hope you have no holes so it can become a solid morph.

Roopa wrote:
I created the morph seperatly and changed the building material which has greater priority then that. And tuned off the layer, its not coming....
How to do that?

Nothing trims automatically with a morph, so Building Material strengths will have no effect.
Once you have a solid morph, you can cut the passage with Solid Element Operations.

Again you are really pushing the limits of what Archicad can do.
I am sure it would be easier in some other sculpting software and then just bring in the finished product.

All I can say is good luck with that.
If you have to use Archicad exclusively, then the morph tool will be your best bet - however it is not meant to do this sort of thing as you seem to have found out.

You will be best to go to some other software that allows you to model these type of figures.
You may even find something modelled up already that you can use in that software.
Don't ask me what software you will need as I have no idea - and expect a steep learning curve to use it if you have to create your own model.
You will need to look for software that can export the model in a format that Archicad can import.
But if you want a full 3D model that looks much more realistic you will need to look at other software.
And be aware that the more realistic it is, the more polygons it will have and the more it will affect the performance of Archicad.
No I don't.
Someone else may have an idea.
Blender maybe - but I am just guessing (and I believe it is free).

Roopa wrote:

You will need to find a common format that the software can export (save) as, and that Archicad can import as.
Archicad can handle quite a few 3D formats so you should be able to find something compatible.

It's surprising what gets modelled with Sketchup. See if you can find a .SKP model with a google search or ask on their forums. You should be able to bring a SKP file straight into AC with a limited number of adjustments for presentation.

If you have access to the actual sculptures: <LINK_TEXT text="https://forums.sketchup.com/t/awesome-3 ... p-0/118404">https://forums.sketchup.com/t/awesome-3d-scan-app-0/118404</LINK_TEXT>

That might be a quick solution for you.

The one time I had to do a sculpture, I just went for 'boxing' it out with basic shapes and described that actual sculpture in the contract documents. No-one in their right mind was going to pay me for that amount of hours of trying to model something that some factory just has lying on the shelf (they won't reference my drawings) or if it is existing already, even less reason to model it accurately. Just my (im)polite opinion <E>😉</E>

On another side, I would try to download a nice 3D model head for those animals, and make sure that they can be manipulated in Rhino, Why ??

So that you can use the Grasshopper ArchiCAD connection to make those time consuming adjustments easily and quickly, and send the data to ArchiCAD as Morphs ... unless you need something really specific which in this case you will need a 3D sculpture artist, that can export his work to a file exchange format compatible with ArchiCAD.
Out of curiosity, does you requirements have something to do with Minoan or Hindu architecture ??

I downloaded from archibase.com. Here is the link.

https://archibase.co/download/ce7e3456.html

Now I need to edit that model. I converted into morph. I need to open the mouth of the animal from that we have a step. How to do that??

I splited the model. Next how to edit??

Here is the image attached
That is the bit you will find is rather difficult.
Archicad is really not very good at this sort of modelling.

I would split the head so you have a top and bottom jaw.
Then split vertically where you want the bottom jaw to pivot.
You might want to place a temporary roof/slab/wall to get the cutting plane easily.

Now I would rotate the bottom jaw down.
Now the hard bit will be adding surfaces to join up the gaps.
Then union all the pieces back into one morph.

Add slabs, beams to form the passage you need and then SEO that from the morph.

I am sure it is much easier said than done.

I would mould it in clay in the way i want it and then i would make an 3D-Scan. (or let mould it by an artist i trust and 3D-Scan it.) This is artwork - nor architectural work.
