I was working in my model and I have done something to cause a cloud cursor to appear everytime I want to place an object or use the morph tool on the building within my model. Not sure what I hitter toggled but I cannot get it to go away and it will not allow me to place objects on the model itself - it is like it placing them outside the model far beyond it. Help - thank you!

https://ibb.co/Lpkq5Gv

You may also find it is because you are in Perspective mode and the point you are locating is actually a long way away.
You should find if you click on an actual node of an existing element it will work.
You can also try turning on the surface snap as that will let you snap anywhere on a surface.

It was Surface Snap that must have been toggled off - THANK YOU - that fixed it!
