F3 is the shortcut to show 'previous' in 3D.
I could never understand why we would want this.
F5 is show selection/marquee (or all if nothing is selected).

I am still working on my AC21 mesh and have modeled the site. I've also started to model the building and have slabs and some walls in place. They are at the correct height because I was looking at it. Trouble is that I've lost the view. Whenever I select F3 or my Toolbar icon, I get only one of the slabs - no walls. Marqueing the house on the site, or the house and then viewing in 3D only shows the same slab every time - regardless of my layer settings or object selections. Where has it gone and what have I done to make this happen?

Are you viewing 3D with a renovation filter that is hiding those elements?
Be sure to use a reno filter that does nothing.
I've got no overrides, and show all elements.
But why does my 3D always show the same slab - regardless of what has been selected?

Right clic + show all in 3D
Check that mesh can be visible in 3D (3d filtre)
Check the layer is visible
Disable 3d cut

It could be fine like this

Christophe
Is there a 3D filter that might stop it from working?

Solved it! There was an earlier version of the floor slab directly above the model so that it didn't show until I expanded to see the full screen in 3D, rather than plan view. Thanks for your suggestions.
