Is it possible to use Curtain Wall to create something similar to this?

Sure? I would do the mesh as a texture on a panel though.

Yes.

You could use the curtain wall for the metallic frame and the for the panel just use a texture with proper alpha channel so it is see-through. And it will allow for design flexibility, door placement etc.
