      <description>&lt;P&gt;The easiest way is most probably to use the "Mesh-to-Roof" Goodie add-on.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Draw the roof structure with a mesh, then use the add-on, done. (Mostly. You might want to check vertical alignment... roofs sadly are always tied to the inner surface.)&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Another method is to cut a hole in the roof after you have created it. I would attempt to magic wand the roof base polygon with roof tool active after setting the parameters then cut a hole in it.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Here is an official video on how to cut a hole in a roof from a while back now.&amp;nbsp;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;BR /&gt;&lt;/P&gt;
