    <description>&lt;P&gt;I would add to Barry' answer that you need to make sure that you modify the DEFAULT Element Transfer Setting, which is marked by that little icon to the right of its name in the list. That is the Element Transfer Setting that Archicad will use when applying Favorites.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;My default was "Exclude ID/Home Story", so I had to make the "Exclude ID/Layer" setting the Default so that a Layer would not be applied when applying a Favorite.&lt;/P&gt;</description>

      <description>&lt;P&gt;I can't believe i am still try to figure out layer.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;I have wall tools set up with interior and exterior. &amp;nbsp;for exterior wall tools I set up layer to one layer Ar-exterior wall. &amp;nbsp;for interior wall. i set up to Ar-interior wall.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Click exteior wall tools favaouris works fine, but try to use interior wall favourits, &amp;nbsp;it still put the new wall in Ar-exterior wall layer.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Arcicad need to figure wall to improve efficiency, &amp;nbsp;They need to figure out a why let architect don't need to worry about layer.&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;&amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;Autodesk Revit completed get rid of layer. &amp;nbsp;&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;Check the 'Element Transfer Settings' that you are using to make sure that the layer is active for the wall tool favourites.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If not it will ignore the layer when you choose the favourite.&lt;/P&gt;
