Window move in sections with delay of opening in wall

Hey!

When I move a window in a section view, the change doesn't show up in the wall right away — it takes a few minutes to update.

I've already tried lowering the graphics settings (like turning off shadows and texture fills), but that didn’t help.
Any idea what might be causing the delay?

I’m not sure if this is applicable to your session, but I am currently on an older laptop and do experience some lags. In these instances, I find the following things commonly slowing things down:

- Trace feature active in the view

- Highly detailed objects, such as railings, visible in the view

- Highly detailed 3d view with shadowed engine (which is not applicable here as you are in a 2d window, but might take up some memory in the background).

BTW, it may help to receive more forum responses to your query by adding your ‘rig’ (PC) specifications and AC version. Others who do more work volume than I may have better feedback for you.

Can you still select the opening left behind?
