Could be a few things but I would first look at layers. Are the wall and column on different layers? Is their interaction number the same and not 0?

Hi everyone, I’d really appreciate your help with this issue.
I’m not sure why, in one of the files I’m currently working on, the wall elements suddenly no longer intersect automatically with columns as shown in the image. This happens even though the column’s building material has a higher intersection priority than the brick wall.

Thank you in advance for your help, guys.

Operating system used: Windows 25

yes, both on different layer, But i have no idea about the interaction number. can you explain that to me so i can check

dear Mr. davor

I have an additional problem & it might be serious. Also, I don't know why. When I want to open the attribute manager, a warning appears like in the picture. And after the application closes, it says "cannot create temporary documents." What should I do? Is it possible for me to create a new file and merge the model into this file? Thank you for your very helpful response.

Try to repair the file. If it still continues you could try to start a new file and merge this one into it (file/interoperability/merge)

Each layer has an interaction number; this is stored in the layer combinations.

Elements on the same layer with the same interaction number interact with each other.

If you don’t want them to interact, you can place them on different layers with different interaction numbers.

Solid Element Operations will still work.

Normally, everything should work correctly with proper building material intersections. However, if the column disappears, you can place the elements on different layers with different interaction numbers and use Solid Element Operations to cut the column out of the wall.

(you can find SEO under design/solid element operations)
