also, I dont think this is the issue, but make sure your fill primitives are limited to lines and fills... I know using polylines causes weird things, but not seen it do the **** thing

I am trying to make a Fill that shows the stone coursing for an ashlar wall.

When I copy and paste the 2d lines, the fields for the overall dimensions display ***** not the dimensions.

Is it me or is it ArchiCAD 28 or is it because I'm on a PC not my beloved Mac?

See screenshots below.

AC versions 3.41 to 28.
Using AC28.3.2 (6200) UKI FULL
Windows 11 Pro Intel(R) i7-10700K 48Gb RAM

Operating system used: Windows 11

You are at 10000% zoom.

Try zooming out and see if that helps.

yeah, either zoomed out too far, or you selected elements that are farther from the group of copied elements than the fill can process. You have a stroke length of about 600 miles (100000000000.0mm). that makes me think maybe you copied a group of things, and part of the group is WAY off to the side.
Try suspending groups, re-select and copy the contents again

I ran "linework consolidation comand" on them again and it worked! I had exploded the polylines and ran linework consolidation previously and when I did the zoom to selection nothing weird was happening but running "Linework Consolidation" fixed it this time.
