      <description>&lt;P&gt;The only real solution I have found is to model the flights and winders separately.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If all one stair, the underside will become curved.&lt;/P&gt;
&lt;P&gt;If modelled as separate stairs, the flights will have a flat base and you can edit the winders to have a flat base as well if you want.&lt;/P&gt;

      <description>&lt;P&gt;If you use Barry's method, some landings may become very thick. In that case, you can even model the desired bottom surface with a Morph and subtract it from the Landing to achieve the exact desired bottom surface in all landings instead of the automatically generated bottom surface.&lt;/P&gt;</description>
