Extra lines either end of the top-most tread in Stair - How do I hide?

I've looked in all the usual places - Stair Settings and Model View Options.

I can't find how.

Above you see two copies of the same stairs, the only difference being that the one at left is set to 'End with riser' - the one at right is 'End with tread'.

Seeing there are no replies here so far, I am wondering if this is issue is related to the way I have loaded my libraries. Something to do with the multiple instances of entries I seem to have for things such as Stair Grid, or Walking Line etc.

Go into Edit Mode and see if the top edge can be toggle on. It should be on by default though...

I don't understand why they must be showing in the first place, but yes, they've now gone.

"edit mode" is a killer of stair edibility... every time I edit a stair's individual component, when I need to make a change to the stair settings, I just count on deleting the whole stair and starting over.

You can easily reset treads and risers in Edit Mode. It would be nice if the top was identified seperately, so that if you increased the length of your stair, your top tread edits stay with your top tread.

Alternatively, you can reset all from the Reference Line or Boundary Line.
