Not easy to tell from the screenshot alone.

But – shot in the dark here – check if there are some elements doubled (e.g. accidentally copied in place). It will not be obvious from the plan (other than these weird connections happening).

Hi everyone,

I’m running into an issue with composite wall intersections and I can’t figure out what’s causing the inconsistency.

I have two corners with what should be identical settings:

Same composite structure

Same building materials

Same material intersection priorities

Same layer order

However, when the walls intersect:

In left corner, the junction behaves as expected

In right corner, the concrete layer extends all the way to the exterior, overriding the finish layer

This happens even though both corners appear to be set up exactly the same.

Has anyone experienced something similar?

Any ideas on what I might be missing would be really helpful.

Thanks in advance!

Operating system used: Windows 11

Do you have other elements that might intersect the corner on the right?

If you replicate the same situation elsewhere, does it show up properly?

Are the small gray corners made of walls as well? having walls on walls might cause this kind of issue.

Or it could be a height difference or something to do with the reference lines of the smaller gray corner.

Following from Cosmin, said elements need only overlap in 3D with their reference lines crossing regardless of their visibility on the current storey. If it resolves when you move the elements in question off to the side, then examine the 3D relations.

90% of our corner cleanup issues seem to be due to this exact issue. That's usually the first thing to check.
