Hi,

You can model a custom shape in the Profile manager and model your gutters as beams. That would allow for flexibility, joining corners etc, and also you can even slightly slope them if you want to be very precise.

You can also model the fixings and distribute them evenly with Ctrl+U (distribute), but after that, editing them would be quite difficult as they are independent elements.

Hi @clauds1223

As @CosminF said, you can create your own custom profile using the Profile Manager and use it as a beam, since it is a fairly flexible tool. However, there are parts such as joints, hangers, head leaders, downspout holes, elbows, etc. that need to fit that custom gutter profile and could be tedious to model with precision. That's why I recommend using the parametric objects from the library available under Special Constructions> Accessory Elements, where there are several types of profiles. Later, if necessary, you can draw your custom profile over it in a more detailed view.

I like the gutter/downspout objects... but as @CosminF pointed out, the profile is also an option... I've used segmented beams to include an end cap as well. This has the bonus that you can include it as part of the fascia, soffit, flashing, etc.
...
as a third option, the cadimage roof covering (third party, extra $$) has decent gutter and downspout options AND gives you highly detailed roof finish (shakes, singles, standing seam, corrugated, etc.) all in one object/element.
