Thank you very much, sir. I had assumed that this was a limitation of the app, as I couldn’t find a solution on YouTube either, but now I see that isn’t the case. I do hope there will be an update on this stair tool

Is there a way around this? Thank you

Operating system used: Windows 25H2

Activate the Arrow tool.

Select the Stair.

Hover the cursor over the back edge of the Stair landing. The Info Tag appears and says "Baseline of Stair".

Press TAB, which will cycle through all available edge types (Baseline or Boundary, in this case). When the Info Tag says "Boundary of Stair", click to select it. You will see now that the Boundary Polylines on both sides of the Stair geometry will be selected in green.

Now use the Offset Edge command of the Pet Palette.

Alternative method for the selection of the Stair Boundary:

In any tool (Arrow, Stair, or any other), hold down the SHIFT key, and hover the cursor over the back edge of the Stair landing. The Info Tag appears and says "Baseline of Stair".

While still holding down SHIFT, press TAB to cycle through all available edge types. When the Info Tag says "Boundary of Stair", SHIFT-click to select it.

Use Offset Edge command.
